Video ini merupakan dokumentasi dari karya seni performans Abi Rama, “Eye Contacting Myself”, di Forum Lenteng, Jakarta Selatan, 7 Januari 2016, pukul 20:30 WIB. Karya ini merupakan bagian dari proyek 69 Performance Club, sebuah platform baru dari Forum Lenteng untuk mengembangkan praktik-praktik seni performans di Indonesia. Dalam karya ini, Abi Rama menggunakan sejenis aplikasi ponsel pintar yang disinkronkan dengan dua laptop dan dua proyektor yang mencitrakan tubuhnya di dinding. Abi bermain dengan gerakan tubuhnya sendiri untuk menciptakan efek bunyi dari gawai-gawai tersebut.

This video is a documentation of Abi Rama’s performance artwork, “Eye Contacting Myself”, at Forum Lenteng, South Jakarta, 7 January 2016, 20:30 WIB. It’s a part of 69 Performance Club project, a Forum Lenteng’s new platform to develop performance art practices in Indonesia. In this work, Abi Rama was using a kind of smartphone appilcation which was synchronized with two laptops and two projectors screened his image on the wall. Abi played with movement of his body to create a sound effect from the gadgets.
