• Hafiz Rancajale Curator

    (b. 1971) graduated Fine Arts at Jakarta Institute of Arts (IKJ) in 1994. He is an artist, curator, founder of Forum Lenteng and Ruangrupa. Editor in Chiet at www.jurnalfootage.net. He is also the Artistic Director of OK. Video – Jakarta International Video Festival (2003-2011). Since 2013, Hafiz is The Head Commissioner of Visual Arts at Jakarta Arts Council.

  • Prashasti Wilujeng Putri

    (b.1991) Prashasti Wilujeng Putri is an artist and art organiser. She graduated in Criminology at the University of Indonesia in 2014. Dancer of Radha Sarisha dance community and Central Java Pavilion Taman Mini Indonesia Indah. Besides being the Coordinator of Forum Festival Program at ARKIPEL, she is currently managing the 69 Performance Club, as well as being one of the participants in Milisifilem Collective.

  • Manshur Zikri

    (b. Pekanbaru, 1991) is a writer who focuses on the realm of art, media, and cinema. He got his bachelor degree in Criminology at the University of Indonesia in 2014. He has been studying experimental visual in Milisifilem Collective since 2017.

  • Otty Widasari

    (b, 1973 in Balikpapan) graduated Fine Arts at Jakarta Institute of Arts (IKJ). She once studied Journalistic at Institute of Social and Political Science Jakarta (IISIP). She is an artist, writer, filmmaker, and one of the founders of Forum Lenteng. She is also program director of akumassa and Editor in Chief at www.akumassa.org.

  • Pingkan Polla

    (b, 1993 in Magelang) graduated Fiscal Administration at University of Indonesia and still running her research on digital economy. She is now working at Forum Lenteng and spend her spare time actively with the Radha Sarisha Dance Community. She is also now studying experimental visual in the Milisifilem Collective since 2017.

  • Theo Nugraha

    (b. Samarinda, April, 1992) is a sound artist from Samarinda. He has been part of the Indonesian experimental sound scene since 2013. His discography is almost 200 releases. He has a co-founder of EXTENDED ASIA and as the Co-Artistic Director for MUARASUARA. Theo is currently studying experimental visual in Milisifilem Collective, performance art at 69 Performance Club and also is the editor for VJ> Play column at Visual Jalanan (www.play.visualjalanan.org).

  • Taufiqurrahman

    (Palu, 25 September 1994) works as a graphic designer. He is a member of Forum Sudutpandang, Palu, developing collective namely Serrupa. Since 2018, he has been studying exeperimental visual in the Milisifilem Collective. He graduated from Communication Studies, Tadulako University, in 2017.

  • Dhanurendra Pandji

    (b.1997 in Temanggung) is an artist based in Jakarta. As a member of the Forum Lenteng, he is currently active in Milisifilem Collective, 69 Performance Club, and jurnalfootage.net. He also involved as a film selector for Akripel – Jakarta International Documentary and Experimental Film Festival.

  • Maria Deandra

    (b. Jakarta, 2000) currently studying in Jakarta Institute of Arts majoring in Film and Television. She has been a participant of Milisifilem Collective since 2018, and is currently managing the 69 Performance Club.

  • Dhuha Ramadhani

    (b. February 23, 1995, in Jakarta) is a writer and filmmaker. Completed undergraduate education at the Department of Criminology, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Indonesia. Member of the Forum Lenteng, active as one of the AKUMASSA program participants. In 2018, he became one of the curators of ARKIPEL for the Candrawala program. Now, he is also a participant in the Milisifilem Collective.

  • Maria Christina Silalahi

    (b. Jakarta, 31 May 1993) graduated from Criminology, University of Indonesia in 2018. She studies the experimental visual at Milisifilem Collective since then. She is now one of members of Forum Lenteng, in charge of AKUMASSA program.

  • Syahrullah

    Commonly known as Ule (b. Samarinda, 28 June 1988), he graduated Civil Engineering at the University of Tujuh Belas Agustus, Samarinda, East Kalimantan. In Samarinda, Ule was active in organizing local music gigs independently and he is a member of Sindikat Sinema . He is also a member of Lagu Lama Kolektif, Balikpapan. He is studying experimental visual in the Milisifilem Collective since 2018.

  • Robby Ocktavian

    (b. Samarinda, 20 Oktober 1990), an artist and art organizer. He likes to screen films in Samarinda city with friends from the sindikatsinema. He also founded the Naladeva Film Festival in Samarinda. Completed International Relations studies at Mulawarman University in Samarinda and then learned to understand and produce visuals at Forum Lenteng in the Milisifilem Collective program.

  • Abi Rama
    [INACTIVE] (b. 1989) As multimedia artist, he also forms Kasetan, a disc jockey duo that uses cassette tapes as the main medium. With his fellow artists at Visual Jalanan, forms Klub Karya Bulu Tangkis, a space for experimentations and explorations of technology, visual, cultural, and urban youth. In 2015, he was one of the curators for ‘Cinema Civilization in Exhibition #2, during the ‘ARKIPEL Grand Illusion. Also a curator for ‘Visual Jalanan: Bebas Tapi Sopan’ in the National Gallery of Indonesia as fringe event of Jakarta Biennale 2015.

  • Muhamad Fauzan Chaniago
    [INACTIVE] (b. 1993) Comes from Padang ancestry, Student of Institute of Social and Political Sciences , Jakarta. Majoring Advertising and take semester break until undecided time. Member of Forum Lenteng, Director Toko Store and active in Kampung Segart, Klub Karya Bulu Tangkis and Visual Jalanan. He dreams to finish university.

  • Rachmadi A.K.A. Rambo
    [INACTIVE] (b. 1992) Member of Forum Lenteng and student of Institute of Social and Political Sciences, Jakarta. Trumpet Blower and total joker. Now active in Klub Karya Bulu Tangkis and Visual Jalanan. He also forms Kasetan, a disc jockey duo that uses cassette tapes as the main medium with Abi Rama and a band named The Sarinah.

  • Hanif Alghifary
    [INACTIVE] (b. 1993, Jakarta) member of Forum Lenteng, student of Institute of Social and Political Sciences, Jakarta. Part of Kampung Segart Community, now involve in Klub Karya Bulu Tangkis, Log Out Corps and Visual Jalanan. Last exhibition was with Log Out Corps named “Sidewalk Warfare” in The Japan Foundation Jakarta.

  • Ragil Dwi Putra
    [INACTIVE] (b.1992) Studied at Jakarta Institute of The Art, specifically graphic art. Sometimes, he works as a graphic designer for several events. He is also a member of Bremol Band that brings printmaking culture issue in their music and lyric. His work mostly brings the political and social issue that using wheatpaste in public space.

  • Pychita Julinanda
    [INACTIVE] (b. Jakarta, 16 Juli 1998) is an undergraduate student at the University of Indonesia, majoring in International Relations, and a freelance translator. Is working on UI Film Festival 2019 as a Discussion Panel Manager. Currently studying experimental visual in Milisifilem, Forum Lenteng.

  • Reza ‘Asung’ Afisina
    [INACTIVE] (b. Bandung, 1977). He studied cinematography—specifically sound recording for film and documentary features—at Jakarta Institute of the Arts, Indonesia (1995–99). Afisina is a member of the Jakarta-based artists’ collective ruangrupa (est. 2000), a nonprofit organization focused on supporting art initiatives in an urban context through research, collaboration, workshops, exhibitions, and publications. He served as the program coordinator for ruangrupa from 2003–07 and has been the artistic director of their ArtLab since its inception in 2008.

    Hauritsa
    [INACTIVE] Graduated from Jakarta Institut of Arts, Fine Arts Faculty, specifically Graphic Arts. Living and working in Jakarta as a graphic designer and visual artist. Also involved in ARTLAB ruangrupa as a visual artist. His work is more of a social nature, what happened between personal and the surrounding environment. He also made a short poem and using visual art as the medium to present his poetry. He also initiated Jakarta Wasted Artist (JWA) along with three other artists from Jakarta that focuses on issues of urban life.

  • Ridwan Rau Rau

    (b. Jakarta, 14 December 1984), an artist who has been actively making performance arts since 2003. He is also the organizer of the Performance Art Festival in Jakarta (PADJAK) and is a member of the Rewind Art Community. He presented a lot of his work in various places, such as in Latitude Play Latitude Play Video Performance Art Bolivia and No Name Collective Gallery, London. He also carried out the Sunda Strait Study project along with many other performance artists on ferry boats from Merak to Bakauheni. His works can be seen at www.padjak.yolasite.com.

  • Aliansyah Caniago

    (b. 1987) lives and works in Bandung, Indonesia. He studied painting at the Faculty of Art and Design, Bandung Institute of Technology. Through interventions, installations, and performances in certain locations, he is interested in working directly with the community and developing works of art that can blend with the community, getting into conflicted areas creatively and try to improve the damaged environment. Besides his artistic practice, he is also one of the founders of the collective space of artists in Bandung, the Ruang Gerilya.

  • Ferial Affif

    Ferial Afiff adalah seniman yang fokus pada orang lain serta kondisi kehidupan yang menyertainya, terutama tema sosial/ lingkungan/ budaya/ sejarah/ gender, menyebabkan Ferial kerap beralih-peran sebagai fasilitator/ kurator/ penulis/ peneliti/ produser/ dsb. Ferial sejak 2012 menjadi anggota Lifepatch; sebuah inisiasi warga dalam seni-sains-teknologi. Sejak 2018 bersama Putri Wartawati, Ridwan Rau Rau, dan Yayasan Lingkar Semanggi – Tangerang, menginisiasi Expedition Camp: forum temu & berbagi 2 tahunan para praktisi performans se-Asia.   • Riyadhus Shalihin

    Riyadhus Shalihin, is the co-founder and artistic director of the Bandung Performing Arts Forum (B.P.A.F), who collaborates with Theater MUIBO (Tokyo) on a theater collaboration project: ‘Once Upon A Time – The Fallen Boat’ – 2019, with assistance from the Japan Foundation. Leow Puay Tin (Malaysia) for the theater project ‘US NOT US’ on the Asian Dramaturgs Network, Yogyakarta – 2018. Member of the Majelis Dramaturgi (Dramaturgy Council) – initiated by Teater Garasi Yogyakarta. He writes essay on theater, dance, and art in Tempo, Sarasvati, Pikiran Rakyat, Indopos, and Jawa Pos.

  • Juan Arminandi

    Juan Arminandi is a musician and composer from Pontianak, West Kalimantan. In 2018, he designed his own instrument based on a traditional instrument from Kalimantan, sape and selodang, which he named MU74N. Juan’s vision is that MU74N can represent the Kalimantan’s voice at this time.

    Besides making instruments, he actively participated in various experimental music exploration projects and researched the music tradition from Kalimantan.
