Out Of In The Penal Colony (Geneva)

Karya ini merupakan bagian dari serial performans yang berjudul “Out Of In The Penal Colony”. Pada performance ketiga ini 69 Performance Club berkolaborasi dengan Rizki Resa Utama, seorang seniman Indonesia yang tinggal dan bekerja di Berlin. Karya-karyanya banyak berbicara soal nilai dan peran sosial yang menimbulkan relasi antarindividu dengan meninjau ulang kompleksitas bahasa.

Dalam performance ini, para performer berada di dalam suatu ruangan, menulis kata “The Man”, “The Wound”, “The Script”, dan “Decipher” berulang-ulang. Satu orang sebagai pengantar pesan membawa beberapa gawai dengan tubuhnya untuk merekam jalannya performans dan memproyeksikannya ke ruangan lain. This work is one of the performance series entitled “Out Of In The Penal Colony”. In this third performance of this edition, 69 Performance Club collaborated with Rizki Resa Utama, an Indonesian artist who lives and works in Berlin. His works investigate the making of social values and roles, which drives the relations between individuals by examining the complexity of language.

In this performance, the performers were in a room, writing “The Man”, “The Wound”, “The Script”, and “Decipher” repeatedly. One person as a messenger carrying devices on his body to shoot the performance which was projected in another room.
