Out Of In The Penal Colony (Ghent)

Karya ini merupakan bagian dari serial performans yang berjudul “Out Of In The Penal Colony”. Pada performance pertama ini, para performer berusaha menghadirkan pembacaan mereka terhadap karya Kafka yang berjudul “In The Penal Colony” dengan derap sepatu boots tentara, bingkai-bingkai, dan delay video YouTube beserta suaranya. Karya pertama dalam serial ini merupakan bagian dari Europalia Arts Festival yang diadakan di Belgia oleh Pemerintah Republik Indonesia.

This work is one of the performance series entitled “Out Of In The Penal Colony”. In this first performance of the series, the performers tries to present their interpretations of Kafka’s “In The Penal Colony” with the racing boots, frames, and video delay from YouTube along with the sound delay. This first performance of this series was a part of Europalia Arts Festival which was held in Belgium by the Republic of Indonesia.
